Reiki Healing and Teaching
Opening up to the world of Reiki is a divine experience. To be able to support the healing of yourself and others is a gift and a blessing.
First degree Reiki is all that many people desire – once trained at this level, you can treat yourself, friends, family and animals. Additional training is available in Reiki level 2 and Reiki Master/Teacher for those who wish to extend or to go more deeply into their practice. Contact me for further information about these trainings.
Some Reiki Masters choose to teach and attune students in a group or class setting. I prefer to teach students one on one, but if you have a friend keen to learn, you can learn together. I believe the learning experience, and attunement or initiation of a person into the healing practice of Reiki is a sacred time. This also gives the student my undivided attention and space of openness to discuss and ask as many questions along the way to ensure they get as much understanding as needed for them to go away feeling comfortable and confident.
You don’t need to do any preparation before your one day of training in beautiful Port Stephens, although you may choose to meditate a little more and refrain from alcohol leading up to the day, but this is up to you.
What we will cover on the day in terms of theory:
- The history of Reiki, what it is and what it isn’t
- What Reiki can bring to your life and what to expect once you have been attuned
- The principles of Reiki
- An understanding of the chakra (energy) system
- How to perform a Reiki healing on your self and others (including pets)
- Your Reiki lineage
From a practical perspective:
- We will begin the day with a short chakra clearing meditation to centre and prepare you
- I will attune you to the energy of Reiki 1 once we have covered the theory
- We will take turns to give each other Reiki as a way of hands on teaching
You will receive:
- A Reiki 1 manual for your ongoing reference
- A Reiki 1 certificate
- A delicious and healthy light lunch, snacks and drinks
- Ongoing support from me to answer any questions afterwards and share your experience
- Opportunity to join in a Reiki share group to further your practice, learn, and share by giving and receiving a Reiki healing
